Description: “Inspired by being pregnant, Alexander Calder’s mobiles, the organic forms of Dinosaur Designs and the Abstract expressionist painter Max Gimblett I started to create mobiles. As I started I was reminded of an educational legend “I believe this passionately: that we don’t grow into creativity, we grow out of it. Or rather we are educated out of it” Ken Robinson. I decided my mobiles would be Kinetic Fine Art, open ended and for all ages. Cool Pop No 2 Mobile uses bright colour and simple geometric form, the process of making is organic with the sculpture growing like it has a mind of its own.” Katie Blundell 2014
