Artist Statement
When I recently returned to my home town of Clevedon with my family, I was surprised to see other people I grew up with were doing the same. I think being able to draw people back, is a great reflection on this community and beautiful little town. At the same time I noted that the Mallard ducks in the pond at the bottom of the garden also kept coming back. They raise their families from their own lived experience and try to teach and guide their babies to fly just as I aim to.
