The Corner Kitchen and Bar Commission Project
Artist Statement:
I have exhibited my work at the Clevedon Cafe for many years and was excited when the owners came to me with a large commission project which would eventually include 15 new/and commissioned artworks to be in their renovated and renamed establishment, The Corner Kitchen and Bar.
The I enjoyed the process of designing the EIEIO rural-themed series, specifically for the new space. “Words like sea, sky, river, rural, animals, contemporary, landmarks, experience, community and belonging were catalysts to my imagination.
